Bronze Birch Borer (Agrilus anxius)
In many cases, trees in our region are impacted by insect pests that can compromise overall health and structural stability. Species such as birch (Betula spp.) are increasingly affected by bronze birch borer, while several members of the pine genus (Pinus spp.) are experiencing pressure from outbreaks of Rocky Mountain pine beetle and related bark beetles.
Many of these trees respond well to treatment with trunk-injected, broad-spectrum insecticides that help mitigate insect activity during the growing season. These injections support the tree’s natural defense systems and can significantly reduce stress and decline when applied appropriately. Treatments are most effective when administered in the spring, prior to peak insect activity.
